We recently added a 10′ X 12′ screened porch onto the back of a home in Burlington. By matching the gutters, siding and architectural shingles to the existing home, you’d never know it was an addition. We insured lower maintenance for the homeowners by using vinyl in the construction of the porch. The ceiling fan, vinyl beaded ceiling and dog door customized the unique space for the family.

This Archdale family preferred the look of hardwood floors in their Archdale, NC home, but knew their young children would damage them. So instead, they decided on wood-like tile throughout the main rooms of the home and 3/4″ prefinished hardwood floors in the master bedroom. Now, they have the look of beautiful hardwood floors, but the easy cleanup that families with young children need and tile floors can provide.

In the backyard of a home just outside Winston Salem, we recently completed the construction of a 2-story 240 sq. ft. storage building. The first floor houses a shop while the second floor is used for storage. What made this project unique is that one side of the building rests on flat ground, while the other spans over a 12-foot drop in the ground. We buried posts deep in the ground to support the structure that we built entirely on site. Continue reading “Storage Building Built Over Side of Hill”
In our latest whole-house remodel, this unique outdoor living area shows how we paid attention to every detail. The full wood-burning fireplace made from stone includes area to store firewood on either side and allows the homeowners to cook over an open flame.
