In the Summerville home we reconstructed from a fire (click here to read post), the exterior of the home changed just as much of the interior.  After adding to the front of the home and the landscaping, the curb appeal now has a tremendous impact on the homeowners and their guests each time they drive up to the home.

The front porch makeover included reconditioning and extending the deck, widening the stairs and adding an A-frame front porch with stone columns that lead up to cedar beams. For added detail, we constructed a tongue and groove ceiling on the A-frame and added new gables.

Other changes to the curb appeal included adding a mudroom to the side of the home that mimicked the A-frame of the front porch for consistency. Lastly, we added landscaping including a footbridge and walkway to finish off the look.

When it was all said and done, these homeowners were left with a home that is just as beautiful on the outside as it is on the inside.
