In a recent home renovation, we reconfigured their space to enlarge the kitchen area. We removed the load-bearing wall between the kitchen and dining room. Not only did removing the wall open up space, but it also made room for the new kitchen island. Next, we closed in part of the screen porch to accommodate the new laundry room that was previously housed in the kitchen. Continue reading “Kitchen, Laundry and Screened Porch in Jamestown, NC”

New Screened Porch Summerfield
The expansive new screened porch and deck we recently completed in Summerfield boast several added features. The A-frame screened porch was constructed from vinyl inside and out with gutters, downspouts and architectural shingles to match the existing structure.
We constructed the ceiling from beaded vinyl and incorporated two skylights to bring in natural light and a ceiling fan. After wrapping the posts in miratec, we painted them to match the vinyl. We used the SCREENEZE System to screen in the porch and an Andersen screen door. Lastly, we added a new deck with pressure treated wood. Black aluminum balusters and a pressure-treated railing unify the screened porch and deck into one expansive outdoor living area.

Screened Porch Burlington
We recently added a 10′ X 12′ screened porch onto the back of a home in Burlington. By matching the gutters, siding and architectural shingles to the existing home, you’d never know it was an addition. We insured lower maintenance for the homeowners by using vinyl in the construction of the porch. The ceiling fan, vinyl beaded ceiling and dog door customized the unique space for the family.

New Flooring in Archdale
This Archdale family preferred the look of hardwood floors in their Archdale, NC home, but knew their young children would damage them. So instead, they decided on wood-like tile throughout the main rooms of the home and 3/4″ prefinished hardwood floors in the master bedroom. Now, they have the look of beautiful hardwood floors, but the easy cleanup that families with young children need and tile floors can provide.
